Had a fantastic stay in a quaint town. I appreciated the beautiful and nice room. - the staff were lovely. - the hotel was set in a remote area not far from the center of Kurokawa Onsen. - It was close to the opposite bus stop. - Also near the main Kurokawa area.

The onsens were some of the cleanest and nicest in the area, with a short walk along the river to an outdoor onsen. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful snowy village scenery made it truly magical. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Despite the language barrier, they made every effort to communicate with us. The location was convenient, and the staff took care of our car and helped us arrange transfers to our next destination. we highly recommend Okyakuya for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The service on arrival was mediocre. the rooms are quite small and the lack of soundproofing means a lack of privacy for couples or families.
